These uses are generally acceptable as long as they are truthful, limited, and do not misrepresent ownership.

Sharing a short excerpt for commentary Usually limited Use only a short excerpt, give credit, and link to the original page.

This includes copying the images, rewriting the pages into another branded work, using the characters in another publication, creating derivative comics, selling printed materials, or using the content to promote unrelated products or services.

The Utility Baron would copy the whole site and call it “Rate Cowboy.” Do not be the Utility Baron.

Permission Requests

Ask Before Reusing

Permission may be considered for educational, editorial, nonprofit, classroom, licensing, partnership, or media uses.

Third-Party Material

External Materials Stay Theirs

EV Cowboy may link to or reference third-party websites, products, standards, utilities, public agencies, manufacturers, or other outside resources. Those materials remain the property of their respective owners.

A link or reference does not mean EV Cowboy owns, controls, endorses, or is endorsed by that outside party. External sites may have their own copyright notices, license terms, privacy policies, and use restrictions.

Battery Belle respects boundaries. So should the license page.
AI and Automated Use

No Scraping, Training, or Bulk Reuse

Automated copying, scraping, extraction, republication, dataset creation, model training, or bulk reuse of EV Cowboy content is not permitted without written permission.

Visitors may view the site normally in a browser. Automated systems, bots, crawlers, scrapers, dataset builders, and machine-learning pipelines may not copy, extract, store, transform, or reuse EV Cowboy text, images, characters, code, or creative materials for training, indexing beyond ordinary search-engine discovery, resale, republication, or derivative product creation without written authorization.

Educational Use

Teachers May Link, Not Lift the Whole Ranch

EV Cowboy is meant to help people learn. Teachers, trainers, and community educators may link to EV Cowboy pages as part of discussion, reference, or class preparation.

Copying full pages, images, episode text, or site designs into course packs, slides, books, handouts, videos, commercial training materials, or online course modules requires permission.

A short excerpt with credit and a link is generally the better trail. For broader use, ask first.

Linking is the friendly trail. Republishing the whole corral needs permission.
